Adult CPR/AED: Fee:  $50.00 

 Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on adult victims of cardiac arrest.

Adult CPR/AED, Infant and Child CPR: Fee:  $60.00 

Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children, and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on adult victims of cardiac arrest.

Adult CPR/AED and First Aid: Fee:  $60.00

Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on adult victims of cardiac arrest.  Participants learn first aid skills for treating a variety of injuries, such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. Participants also learn to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning.

CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED:  Fee:  $70.00

This course is designed for the rescuer with a duty to respond (such as lifeguard, CNA, RN, etc.) or for anyone desiring to learn advanced CPR.  Content includes 2-rescuer CPR and using a resuscitation mask and bag-valve mechanism.

Community CPR and First Aid:  Fee:  $60.00

Comprehensive course that includes Adult CPR/AED, Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.  Spanish language instruction available.

First Aid: Fee:  $40.00 

Participants learn first aid skills for treating a variety of injuries, such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. Participants also learn to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning. 

 INSTRUCTOR COURSES

 

 

Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT):

This course introduces the instructor candidate to the history, structure and activities of the American Red Cross and prepares candidates to teach Red Cross specialty courses to diverse populations.  Instructor candidates are introduced to the policies and procedures of the American Red Cross to ensure course consistency, quality and appropriate training.

Instructor Course: 

2-day training course designed for those who wish to be certified instructors of Adult CPR/AED, Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.  Participants must attend all sessions.  Prerequisite:  Fundamentals of Instructor Training.
